firewall-applet software package provides panel applet providing status information of firewalld, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firewall-applet
firewall-applet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firewall-applet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firewall-applet *
You will get with firewall-applet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
